Equivalent to 3/4 of a gallon, these artisan crafted 3 litre small oak barrels can be used for wine, port and vinegar ageing, whiskey maturing and liquor mellowing. Our small barrels, kegs and casks come internally toasted, charred or natural. Available in 5 finishes, our 3 liter decorative oak kegs come with 4 black or brass hoops, a wooden stand, bung and tap and are ideal for wine, whiskey, port, brandy and liquor maturing, ageing and dispensing. Traditionally hand crafted in Europe, our 2, 3, 5 and 10 litre wooden barrels and kegs are available to private and corporate customers internationally in single or larger numbers.
3 Liter Oak Wood Wine Ageing Barrels, Toasted Kegs & Port Making Casks
The BM1-LWBK03 (above, left) and BM1-DWBK03 (above,right) three liter medium toasted oak barrels impart stronger tannins into their contents when compared to natural oak barrels and are ideal to quickly oaken wine and port.
Besides wine making, these toasted oak casks can also be used to make vinegar, tan liquors or spirits and as an attractive beverage dispenser.
The 3 litre toasted barrels two finishes include a rustic dark one and are hooped with 4 black rings and come with a wooden stand, bung and a tap.
3 Litre Whiskey Maturing Casks & 3/4 gal Charred Oak Wood Barrels
The BM1-DWBR03 (above) three litre oak cask is charred on it's inside and optimised to mature, colour and flavour whisky.
In addition to whiskey ageing, these charred oak casks can also be used to mellow liquors or spirits and as an attractive 'vintage looking' dispenser.
These 3 litre barrels are currently available rustic, dark finish, hooped with 4 brass rings and come with a wooden stand, bung and a tap

The BM1-MWBK03 (above, left) and BM1-RWBK03 (above, right) and 3 liter are natural oak barrels that impart lighter tannins into their contents when compared to toasted or charred oak barrels and are best suited to gradually oaken and mellow wine, port, vinegar, liquors or spirits.
These natural oak barrels are available in a standard and a rustic finish and are hooped with 4 black rings and come with a wooden stand, bung and a tap and do make an attractive alcohol beverage dispenser.
